Topic tags feature activity is controlled from the bbPress main settings panel.
Open WordPress Settings -> Forums page, and under Forum Features, find ‘Topic tags’ option and disable it.

bbPress has simple search built in using keyword search and simple form with the single input field. But, this can be also disabled.
Once activated, bbPress adds two panels into WordPress administration menu, one for the plugin settings and other with various tools.
By default, bbPress prefixes all forums links (forums, topics, views…) with the ‘forums’ prefix.
bbPress requires theme templates to display the forums content. Currently, bbPress needs total of 16 theme templates for all content types and taxonomies.
To display the content for forums, bbPress relies on the theme templates. But, these are specialized template, and most themes don’t have them. So, how the bbPress uses templates?
There are many ways to modify the way the bbPress forums look like, styling changes, filters and actions and overriding the templates bbPress uses to render all the forums elements.
